This girl loves Jesus.
Her name is Liz Wilson
Today she goes off to training to prepare to go halfway across the world to here
To let them know of who she lives her life for.
and how much He loves them.
I’ve known Liz since I was in seventh grade
I was best friends with her little sister Ruth
Always in her room peeking over her shoulder watching her do college applications, asking silly questions, or sitting down on her bed to talk.
She never seemed to mind.
Then we ended up at college together.
Her last year. My first.
I regret not having been able to spend more time with her this past year.
But when I did see her I was always filled with joy
Her love for the Lord
Her strong faith
Her honesty
Her boldness
All inspire me.
I love you SO much Liz.
Thanks for sharing your life, hugs, laughs, and couch this semester.
You have absolutely no idea how the Lord has used you to teach me.
If I am half as awesome as you are when I graduate, I’ll be satisfied.
Praying for you as you go do His work.
In Him, you will do GREAT things.
I will miss you very much.
